East Midlands Easterthon - 7th to 10th April 2023

Coming very soon!! The first ever East Midlands Easterthon - a whole weekend of events for you to attend in and around Nottingham & Derby - not far from M1 Junction 25.

Good Friday, 7th April - "Two to Tango" - 8.00 pm to 11.30 pm at Spondon Village Hall, Spondon, Derby DE21 7FG. DJ Andy - a mix of traditional, nuevo and non traditional music. - £10 pp. Free car park to the rear of the hall.

Easter Saturday, 8 April -*Milonga Media Luz* - 7.30 pm to 11.30 pm *with Live Music from *Tango Calor Trio* and traditional music from DJ Lisa at Burnside Hall, Church Hill, Plumtree NG12 5ND. Entry £20. Free on street parking near the hall.

Easter Sunday , 9 April - *Derby Tango workshop and practilonga* 3.30 pm - 9.00 pm at Spondon Village Hall, Sitwell St,

Spondon, Derby DE21 7FG. Entry £5. Free parking in car park behind the hall. The afternoon Includes a Workshop with Emilia Andrada from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm followed by the practilonga from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Two hours (5.00pm to 7.00 pm) of Traditional from DJ Su and two hours (7.00pm to 9.00 pm) of Nuevo & Alternative from DJ Andy - an full afternoon of fabulous danceable music.

Easter Monday, 10 April - *Milonga Media Luz Matinee* 2.00pm to 7.00 pm at Beeston Parish Church from . Entry lesson £10, milonga £14; both £20. The lesson (advanced couples) is with Diego Ledesma and Giusy Santoro from 2pm to 3pm (private lesson available from 12.45 pm to 1.45 pm and traditional music milonga with DJ Andy Adamson is from 3pm to 7pm. There will be a home cooked buffet which is always very very popular.

Derbyshire is a beautiful and very interesting county to visit so why not come and combine the weekend with dancing and visiting places such as the Peak District, Chatsworth House, Bakewell (the home of the bakewell tart) and many more interesting and beautiful places.
